Welcome to the Parkinson's Art Academy. The academy offers a range of free, online Arts based courses. Enrolment is now open for 'Poetry Without Fear’ and the portraiture course (drawing & painting portraits). Everyone is welcome.

Portraiture Painting
A four part course focusing on painting the eyes, nose, mouth and overall face. Led by Sarah Fleming.
The course covers line drawing, tones using charcoal and painting with acrylics
Haiku
The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to Haiku Poetry: introducing the basic elements of haiku, encouraging participants to bring their own experience and mindfulness to explore the creative potential and enjoyment inherent in the form and to feel confident to express their own lived realities.
Writing Crime Fiction
A 6 part course led by Dr. Kathleen Kelley Reardon. Kathleen has published ten nonfiction books and two crime mystery novels with a third in the works.
